High-tech medical care

High-tech medical care, which is part of specialized medical care, includes the use of new complex and (or) unique treatment methods, as well as resource-intensive treatment methods with scientifically proven effectiveness, including cell technology, robotic technology, information technology and genetic engineering methods, developed based on the achievements of medical science and technology (part 3 of article 34 of the Federal Law of November 21, 2011 No. 323-FL “On the Basics of Protecting the Health of Citizens in the Russian Federation”).

High-tech medical care is provided in accordance with the list of types of high-tech medical care, approved by Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of December 19, 2016 No. 1403 “On the State Guarantee Program for the Free Provision of Medical Assistance to Citizens for 2017 and the Planning Period of 2018 and 2019”, the State Guarantee Program free provision of medical care to citizens of the Chuvash Republic for 2016, approved. By the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Chuvash Republic No. 602 dated December 30, 2016 No. 602.

High-tech medical care is provided according to the patient’s model, treatment method in accordance with the Procedures for the provision, standards of medical care, approved by orders of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation and clinical protocols adopted in the established manner by professional Oncology Associations.

Tactics regarding treatment of a patient is determined by the oncoconsilium of doctors in accordance with the Procedure for the provision of medical care to the population according to the "oncology" profile, approved by order of the Ministry of Health of Russia dated November 15, 2012 No. 915n. Medical indications for referral to the provision of high-tech medical care is the presence of a patient's disease that requires the use of high-tech medical care in accordance with the approved list of types of high-tech medical care.
